Women's Fellowship

The Women's Fellowship of the Cabool Church of the Brethren is known as the "The Daughters of Shalom".

They are committed to compassionate work, caring for each other and others in the community.  An example of this caring can be delivering meals to a sister who is ill or making baby blankets for local agencies. The Daughters also choose a yearly kit project to make for The Festival of Sharing or Church World Service.  This year's kit project is a "Missouri Student Dental Pack".  (See instructions below)  Other activities include serving meals to groups meeting in the Fellowship Hall or raising funds for maintaining the church building, especially the kitchen.

The women meet the second Wednesday of each month beginning at 10:00 a.m.  The Officers for 2009 are:

President, Louise Crosbie

Secretary, Carolyn Schrock

Treasurer, Carol Clary Pippen

Card and Flower Ministry, Lucille Colvin

Correspondent, Phyllis Pierce
